Many cat parents are looking for a cat tower which does not have a condo. Because some cats do not have a liking towards a condo. Since traditional cat towers have atleast one condo/box even our designs had a box. This is the first time there is no box. So this cat tower is best for bird watching and to be kept near the window or the balcony.
Since it is non-fur (polished) it can be kept in a secured balcony. Balcony must be secure from rain and harsh sun and strong netting must be done before keeping any cat or cat tower.
Measurements:
Height : 4 ft tall
Base : 20" x 24"
Top platform : 12" x 13"
Note: This tower is more expensive than the fur one because it's plywood is polished and treated for water resistance. It takes 3-4 days extra to make this no-fur version because there are multiple stages of polishing. Thus it take more time and labor to make it
Assembly needed on arrival (15 mins)
This product comes in two parts, one will have the top platform and one will have rest of the tower, so you will receive two tracking codes via our website and our shipping partner Shiprocket/Intargos
No-fur Peppermint Cat Tower and Scratching Pole Tower
We want to bring affordability to good structures for cats so we don't use Laminates. Also laminates are too smooth for cats and they do not provide any grip. We use polished plywood.
We use commercial plywood to make our towers and stain them before applying water resistant coating on it.
During the cutting and sanding process some part of veneer (top layer of plywood) chips off and we don’t use filler to fill it as over the time, due to wear and tear it will come off.
Also the stain is directly applied to the plywood and due to blotchy nature of wood the stain absorbed is different in different region. This is also evident in sample pictures on our website.
Blotchy stain and removal of veneer doesn’t affect the functionality of the tower in any way. This process helps us to keep the towers more affordable. This issue will not in anyway be a clause for REPLACEMENT OR REFUND.
This is because of the following reasons:
The design is same as Fur Peppermint but
1) The poles have full rope which is not the case in fur version. This means more labor and time to make it
2) We use plywood which is polished twice. The plywood is coated with water-resistant polish twice to get better results. This means more time to make it
It takes overall more time and labor to make it presentable to the human eye
